An Indian security researcher has discovered a new exploit in Microsoft Windows XP. This exploit makes use of Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA), Microsoft's anti-piracy initiative that is suppose to help companies ensure they are running legally licensed copies of Windows. This exploit was discovered, just as Microsoft is planning a mandatory roll-out of the technology. |
